From the moment I walked in the door, I was loved the sleek and stylish design. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, and the staff were all friendly and professional.
As I settled into the barber’s chair, I was struck by the attention to detail and care that the barber took with my haircut. He listened carefully to my instructions and made sure to check in with me throughout the process to make sure I was happy with the way things were shaping up. When it was all said and done, I left the shop feeling like a million bucks.

Gents of Brooklyn is a traditional barbers with a modern twist. They are one of Cardiff’s High-End Barbers, that sell the experience of getting a haircut, they truly give you the VIP treatment from start to finish.
It’s more than just getting a hair cut. It’s the experience. They pride themselves on not only delivering quality trims but an enjoyable experience when you’re in the shop. From freshly brewed coffee to a cold drink, we are here to share laughs, listen to your news and most importantly, make sure you leave feeling a whole load better than when you walked in.
Their first shop is based on Crwys Road in Cardiff, which is the perfect area for any students looking to visit. This is where they started delivering their premium trims at affordable prices. Since then they have opened shops in Penarth and Cardiff City Centre.
All the barbers are incredibly capable but the barbers that have cut my hair at the shop are, Louis, Steven, Callum & I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Jacks Barbers, based in the heart of Cathays Terrace they’ve been cutting hair in Cardiff for over 20 years. Jacks Barbers welcomes everyone, from students, to working professionals to our senior citizens. Our comfortable waiting area allows for around 10 people to wait comfortably – even on the busiest of days.
The owner Jack works in the shop daily, but if you dont manage to get a seat with the man himself you are in very capable hands with anyone of the other barbers working there. The team is very experienced and friendly and they ensure maximum satisfaction with every cut. It is a local favourite with some customers visiting the shop for over 15 years.

Is a barbershop based on Twynyrodyn Road in Merthyr Tydfil, based just outside Cardiff on the outskirts the shop is appointment only and is approximately a 10-15 minute drive from the University of South Wales Pontypridd Campus. It is a family run barbershop by the Owner Guy and his Sister Sofia. It has a warm friendly atmosphere and I was thoroughly impressed with the whole experience. In addition to the excellent haircut, I also appreciated the shops atmosphere, you can tell the barbers work with a labour of love and the banter in the shop is always top notch.
Overall, I would highly recommend this family barbershop to anyone in search of a top-notch grooming experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The attention to detail, friendly community like atmosphere, all contributed to a truly memorable visit.
